React Native Developer — App Stabilization & Debugging (Phase 1)

Overview:
Take ownership of an existing partially built mobile app. Focus on stabilization, debugging, and improving overall quality — not building from scratch.

Phase 1 Scope:

Review current React Native + backend codebase
Identify & fix critical bugs
Improve performance, stability, and reliability
Ensure core user flows work correctly
Validate API integrations & data handling
Assess current state + recommend next steps

Key Focus Areas:

Mapping / location-based features
User-generated content flows
QA quality & consistency

Requirements:

Proven experience taking over and improving existing apps
Strong debugging & problem-solving skills
Focus on clean, maintainable code
Solid QA/testing practices
Clear, proactive communication

Bonus:

Experience auditing inherited codebases
React Native + Firebase/backend experience

Important:

NOT a from-scratch build
Goal = stabilize and improve an existing product
Potential for long-term work after Phase 1
